‘Anthropological Reversibility’ refers to the persistent capacity of human societies to relinquish their beliefs, their loyalty, and the meaning they ascribe to systems presented as definitive.
Even in situations of confinement, domination remains dependent on participation. When this participation diminishes, (technocratic) systems lose their substance rather than collapse.
This gap between the visible structure and the actual dynamics reveals that even systems presented as ‘totalitarian’ remain dependent on human cooperation, however limited.
In this sense, anthropological reversibility shows that individuals can always escape a system, even when it claims to be total.
‘Domination’ rests on a fragile, never-guaranteed collaboration, and when this collaboration erodes, systems become inoperative, symbolic, or merely decorative.
The thesis I am working on (for my next essay) dispels the illusion of absolute control and reaffirms the central role of human plasticity, culture, and the capacity for withdrawal in the dynamics of power.
This means that the thesis demonstrates that total control does not truly exist, even when technocratic or authoritarian systems claim to regulate everything.
The idea of a power capable of predicting, monitoring, and directing everything—flawlessly—is an illusion.
Reaffirms the central role of human plasticity, culture, and the capacity for withdrawal... Humans can always cease to cooperate, even silently (Meerloo, Milozs, Frankl, Havel):
A reminder that it is humans, not systems, who determine the stability or failure of power."
Yep. Broadly agree. But we are also in a situation where there are so many points of division between people - which is a major part of their strategy - that we won't come together in big enough numbers all at the same time. Divide and rule. They do it well. It's obvious, if you're looking. But most people aren't. Too busy worrying whether or not Arsenal will win on Tuesday. Whilst none of these issues are anything to be sneezed at, they have wonderfully pulled a large tarpaulin over the ‘covid’ narrative and ushered the once snarling mob away from the scene and redirected their angst.
I don’t think I’ll live to see the day Hancock, Witty, Bourla, Gates, Johnson and all the other complicit actors in this production are bundled into a courtroom and convicted of fraud and crimes against humanity, sadly.
